Promotion of New Wave Energy Technology

AllCom was asked to promote an innovative new wave energy technology, called CETO, for ASX-listed clean energy company Carnegie Corporation Limited.

The story was pitched to journalists nationally and AllCom coordinated a number of interviews for Carnegie Managing Director Dr Mike Ottaviano.

The story had huge uptake and was broadcast nationally on Channel Nine's 6pm National News program and on major national radio outlets. Daily newspapers that covered the story included the Australian Financial Review, the Sydney Morning Herald and the Australian.

Prime Ministerial Press Conference

During the 2007 election campaign Prime Minister John Howard called a last minute press conference to announce a $75 million competitive grants programme for new and emerging renewable energy technologies, which included a $5 million pledge to Carnegie.

The conference was held at Carnegie's research and development facilities in Fremantle and was attended by the Prime Minister's travelling media entourage and all major national media outlets.

With only a few hours notice, AllCom drafted media releases, created press kits, managed media at the conference and followed up with all parties.
